Please purchase all the thread you need for a project as I cannot guarantee replicating the exact color with a new batch. While I use a mordant as a fixative for most dyes, botanical dyes, by nature, will likely fade or change over time. I use botanical dyes on all threads and all aida cloth colors, with the exception of black and white.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCare Instructions:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI recommend using botanically dyed thread on projects that will not be worn (e.g. framed pieces) if you are concerned about light and wash fastness. If you do need to wash your piece, hand wash in cold water with a small amount of gentle detergent or shampoo.
